Not the cheapest option, but I couldn't leave it out of my list. This is one of the best hotels in the city - the wonderful authentic Boutique Hotel Orangerie with the most delicious breakfasts and a bourgeois atmosphere. Despite its four stars, the hotel is extremely popular, and it's best to book rooms in advance.

The hotel breakfast is served in a buffet format, however, a hot dish is prepared separately for each guest to choose from, whether it be scrambled eggs or porridge. There is also an excellent coffee machine, so we will have the opportunity to enjoy delicious coffee made from quality beans. The buffet features several types of fruits, fresh pastries, salads and snacks, cheeses, sausages, hot dogs, and much more. We are very pleased with the availability of dietary dishes, freshly squeezed juices, and delicious desserts. Reviews also note the excellent service during breakfast; the staff here is very nice!

The heart of Düsseldorf is its old town - Altstadt. This is where Boutique Hotel Orangerie is located. I really like that the street where the hotel is situated is very quiet, despite being in the center of the Old Town. Right across is the Stadtmuseum Düsseldorf - a museum of Düsseldorf's history with a beautiful park on the premises, as well as the Rosengarten. A little further is a large park with a lake where you can take a stroll. Honestly, it's hard to find a more favorable location - you can reach Königsallee, the Film Museum, and other major attractions in 10 minutes, and the waterfront is just a 5-minute leisurely walk away.

Great location, friendly staff, small but very clean and comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast, convenient parking. Excellent value for money.

There is no air conditioning in the rooms, which can be a problem in the summer. Not very powerful wi-fi. 

Just a stone's throw from the Royal Avenue is another wonderful four-star hotel - The Fritz Düsseldorf. Here you will find delightful breakfasts, charming rooms, and excellent service.

At breakfast in this hotel, you won't find fried eggs or an omelette, but you will get to try the most delicious natural yogurts in Germany! The buffet here consists of various fruits, freshly baked goods (very tasty croissants!), vegetables, desserts, cheeses, and boiled eggs. It may not be very diverse, but it is very tasty and of high quality!

The hotel is located in the Old Town, just a 3-minute walk from the Royal Avenue and the Graf-Adolf-Platz metro station. This area features the largest concentration of boutiques, various brand stores, watch shops, and souvenir shops. By the way, as a souvenir for loved ones, you can buy "dancing beer mugs," porcelain figurines, Killepitsch liqueur, or the famous Düsseldorf mustard. Additionally, it's best to plan shopping for weekdays, as all the stores are closed on Sundays. A large park, Schwanenpikgel, is located 400 meters from the hotel, where you can have a great time.

Very clean rooms with interesting design, good location, very responsive staff. Delicious breakfast, free minibar in the room, excellent restaurant at the hotel.

Many tourists do not like the glass transparent wall separating the bathroom from the main part of the room; it is not very private. Poor sound insulation. In some rooms, the air conditioner does not work well.

Another budget hotel that has received many positive reviews caught my attention with its location and incredible breakfast already included in the cost of stay! 

Wow! Such a variety of delicious breakfasts is a rarity for European four-star hotels. A huge amount of fruits, fresh berries, vegetables, various cereals, cheeses, and cold cuts; there is even red smoked and lightly salted fish. In addition, the buffet features various salads, snacks, several types of bread, freshly squeezed orange juice, and much more. Here we definitely won't go hungry!

The hotel is located in the Old Town, not far from the Cinema Museum and the Benrather Straße U metro station. Right across the street is a market, which, in addition to various souvenir shops and stalls, features the wonderful bakery Pure Pastry with the tastiest pastries in town, and around the corner from the hotel is the cozy restaurant Münstermann Kontor, which serves schnitzels. As for bars, be sure to check out Vino's Weinbar, just a two-minute walk from the hotel. There is a public transport stop near the hotel, and you can reach the Royal Avenue in 10-12 minutes.

Convenient location - there are many restaurants and cafes around, as well as pedestrian streets and parks. Comfortable and clean rooms with a coffee machine and other amenities. Very friendly staff, there is paid parking nearby (but with a discount for hotel guests) and a taxi stand. Delicious breakfasts and a very good restaurant. There is a gym.

Some rooms do not have air conditioning, and where it does exist, it barely works; this causes discomfort during the summer months. 

Another budget hotel is in high demand due to its bright rooms, delicious breakfasts, and excellent service. Moreover, it is located in a very comfortable area - on the outskirts of the Old Town, where there are few tourists and many good restaurants and cafes!

In this hotel, you can expect a standard European breakfast, which includes egg dishes, a luxurious selection of cheeses, sausages, yogurts, cereals, various juices, and fresh pastries made right in the hotel. Tourists consistently recommend trying the local croissants! Also, this hotel offers very early breakfasts; they usually start at 6:30 AM and last until 10:00 AM.

The hotel has a decent location. Yes, it is not in the very center of the Old Town, but getting there is not difficult. Across from the hotel is the Pempelforter Straße subway station, and right by the exit is a tram stop. By the way, you can get to the Royal Avenue by tram in just 3 minutes! The Rhine promenade and major historical attractions are located within a 20-minute walk or a 5-minute tram ride.

A budget-friendly hotel with a pleasant design - the lobby and some rooms are decorated with works by contemporary New York artist Peter Kruger. There is a courtyard where you can relax. Very clean and comfortable rooms; there is air conditioning, and a digital concierge service operates. There is a luggage elevator, which greatly simplifies check-in on the upper floors. Delicious breakfasts. Reasonable price. Wonderful staff.

No private parking, small bathrooms. Very small elevator. 

This hotel is located in the EDEKA shopping center building, but has its own entrance. For some, such proximity will clearly be an advantage! I liked this hotel for its modern interiors, comfortable living conditions, delicious breakfasts, and decent service for relatively small money.

An excellent breakfast in buffet style includes freshly squeezed orange juice, quality coffee, a variety of sliced cheeses and cold cuts, fresh pastries, egg dishes, porridge, cereals, and several other standard items. Here you will also find fruits, vegetables, or seasonal berries. It's nice that you can always order something special if you are on a diet or for a child, and you will never be refused! A great tasty breakfast, already included in the room rate, - is one of the main advantages of this hotel. 

The hotel is located in the very center, just a 5-minute walk from the Royal Avenue. I remind you that it is situated in a large shopping center, so you won't have to go far for shopping and souvenirs. Additionally, there are several good restaurants and bakeries in the same building. For example, the restaurant Restaurant Setzkasten Düsseldorf is incredibly popular among tourists, and I definitely plan to stop by there!

New hotel (opened in 2018) with cool interior, spacious rooms, and excellent service. Honestly, the reviews for the hotel are almost all positive, which means that over the years it has managed to win the love of travelers. The rooms have a coffee machine, all the furniture is in good condition, and the bathroom is spacious. Parking (paid) is located right in the building, which is very convenient for tourists with a car. Great internet, convenient location, delicious breakfasts, polite staff.

There are no bathrobes and slippers in the room. Some guests feel that there is not enough light in the rooms. Housekeeping is not daily but every other day.

Another budget hotel located near the city center stands out among the rest due to its unusual interior. Additionally, a lavish buffet breakfast is served for tourists in the restaurant with a view of the entire city. Agree, this is a unique offer!

A diverse buffet is served in the hotel's restaurant on the 16th floor. Of course, you will be greeted by an incredible view of the city and a vast array of delicious dishes. Just the fresh pastries, several types of bread, and assorted jams are worth it! Here, you can also find yogurts, eggs in various preparations, different cereals, muesli, and dairy products; you can choose any toppings (nuts, berries, dried fruits); there are also cheese platters, cold cuts, sausages, and other meat options. As a bonus to breakfast, you can enjoy prosecco and oysters! Where else have you seen this?! The main thing is to remember to order invigorating coffee made from exquisite Colombian beans; a magnificent start to the day!

The hotel is located near the train station and the Wehrhahn S metro station. You can quickly reach the main attractions and the Old Town center by public transport or on foot (about 10-15 minutes). The walk to the popular shopping center Koe-Bogen and the Königsallee can be done in 12 minutes. Of course, be prepared for the fact that there is a railway nearby, which means that it can be a bit noisy in the room at times.

Very unusual hotel with cool designer rooms (there's even a room with a bathtub on the balcony!) and a magnificent view from the window. By the way, the rooms here are very spacious (unlike other hotels in the city). The hotel has a sauna, a wonderful view restaurant, and a bar, as well as bicycle rental. Good cleaning, polite staff, tasty breakfasts. Good soundproofing!

Some guests do not really like the location. Sometimes they have to wait a long time for the elevator. 

One of the most budget-friendly options is a four-star hotel located in the very center of the Old Town. This hotel has excellent reviews, especially tourists love the colorful and hearty breakfast buffet, spacious rooms, and wonderful location!

In the best hotel traditions, sparkling wine awaits you at breakfast! Of course, it's not the only thing! A very beautiful and diverse buffet includes delicious pies and desserts, fruit snacks, various cheeses and cold cuts, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, fresh pastries, vegetable salads, and various additions like nuts, yogurts, and cereals. As for drinks, you will be offered various juices, coffee, tea, and champagne! It is also noted that the breakfast area is bright and pleasing to the eye, and the logistics are very well organized - there are never large queues here!

It's hard to imagine a more central location than this! The hotel is situated between Royal Avenue and Hofgarten Park, just 300 meters from Heinrich-Heine Allee metro station. It's the perfect place for shopping enthusiasts, as there are numerous boutiques and shopping centers just steps away from the hotel. Not to mention, the hotel itself is located between the Max Mara boutique and the SEPHORA store. Around the corner, there's a Starbucks where you can always grab a cup of coffee.

Excellent location, polite and friendly staff, ready to solve any problems that arise, wonderful breakfasts. During the Christmas season, a magnificent Christmas market can be seen from the window. 

There is no parking, problems with ventilation. Some tourists feel that the hotel needs repairs.

Not the most popular, but a very charming budget hotel located close to the center. Here you will find unusual interiors, a tasty and hearty breakfast, and very polite staff. 

First of all, I want to note that the restaurant in the hotel is very beautiful and colorful! Having breakfast here will be very pleasant! A standard German buffet awaits you with a variety of snacks, cold cuts, and fresh pastries. Various teas, delicious coffee, and packaged juices will be offered as drinks. Nothing special, but we definitely won't go hungry. 

The hotel is located near the Japanese district, right in the heart of Düsseldorf. It takes about 10-20 minutes to walk to the waterfront, the trendy Medienhafen area, and the Royal Avenue shopping street. Overall, the area is very interesting, with a concentration of many restaurants (mainly Japanese), shops, and shopping centers. The Oststraße metro station is located nearby.

Low price, beautiful interior and designer rooms with vintage furniture and many interesting details (for example, a vinyl record player). Polite staff, good breakfast, convenient location.

Very poor sound insulation, small shower, and cramped rooms. 

Great three-star hotel located near the city center - a wonderful option for those who do not want to overpay for star rating and location. They serve an excellent buffet breakfast here, and the rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay!

Paradoxically, this three-star hotel offers a breakfast that looks much more varied than that of some five-star hotels. Here, a huge and colorful buffet awaits you, featuring various cereals, yogurts, nuts, pastries and all kinds of bread, cheese platters, egg dishes, sausages, vegetables, snacks, salads, a variety of jams and spreads, several types of juice, coffee, and tea. The diversity of fresh fruits deserves special attention – you can find not only seasonal fruits but also tropical fruits, as well as several types of berries.

The hotel is located 10-15 minutes walking distance from the center of the Old Town, near the metro station ERGO-Platz/Klever Str. A popular park along the Golzheim waterfront, where you can spend a great time, starts just five minutes' walk from the hotel. Opposite the hotel is a cool Italian restaurant Devona, the café Die Kaffee Privatrösterei Olga Sabristova, and the burger place Space Burger. The area here is very pleasant and, unlike the center, very calm.

Convenient location. The staff is very polite, tasty breakfast, there is parking, polite staff, there is an elevator inside, the rooms are very comfortable with everything you need (there is even an iron with an ironing board, a fan, a coffee machine, and a mini-bar).

No air conditioning, a very small elevator that is more suitable for luggage. 

And completing my selection is another budget three-star hotel. Here you will be offered spacious and bright rooms, the option to rent apartments with a private kitchen, a delicious breakfast in buffet style, and a very pleasant price for accommodation!

This hotel serves breakfast in the form of a buffet. Unfortunately, the breakfast room is not very large, with only 6-7 tables, so there are sometimes queues. However, the breakfast itself is very hearty and varied. Delicious cheeses, pastries, eggs in various variations, fruits and vegetables, as well as several sweet dishes and desserts. You can also enjoy excellent coffee here. In addition, the hotel has apartments with their own kitchen, so if desired, you can prepare breakfast yourself.

The hotel is located in the Stadtmitte area, just 500 meters from Düsseldorf's main train station. The Königsallee can be reached in a 17-minute walk. Since the Japanese quarter is very close by, there are many Asian restaurants and shops concentrated here, which can become a kind of attraction for us!

There is parking, an excellent breakfast, clean and bright rooms (some with balconies). Affordable accommodation, very friendly staff. Due to the small size of the hotel, it is never noisy or crowded here. An interesting area, although not the very center.

The wi-fi works poorly, there is no kettle in the rooms with a kitchen, the bathroom is very small.
