I encountered the term boutique hotel for the first time, but Hotel Villa Bahia truly evokes special feelings when viewed from the outside. The hotel occupies two traditional colonial buildings that feature a terrace with a panoramic view of Pelourinho Square. The property has a pool, a solarium, and a courtyard where guests can stroll during the day. Temporary art exhibitions will add vibrant emotions to the vacation. 

Breakfast is served daily from 07:00 to 10:00 AM, and as a bonus for guests — a new signature menu every day. You can constantly try different dishes! This is a good service system for a small hotel, and the overall rating of the breakfast in terms of variety and taste is "amazing". 

This boutique hotel is located in the historic center of the city, so a whole world of new places and interesting leisure activities will be open to you. It is worth noting that literally everything is here: restaurants, cafes, churches, shops, and other attractions. The trip to Luis Eduardo Magalhães Airport will be about 20 km. But that's not too far, considering that the hotel will gladly provide a transfer service. 

The hotel rooms are equipped with modern amenities and truly look like they are straight out of a magazine cover; all the furniture and decor complement each other perfectly and match in colors. The rooms feel spacious, with a personal mini-bar stocked with drinks, a very cozy guest area, and even a terrace. This private outdoor access always significantly impacts the stay in the room, where you feel complete privacy and comfort. 

The small Pousada Acácia da Barra looks so colorful and bright! This is exactly what catches my attention, because it is in such colors that my vacation in Brazil will take place. The hotel has incredibly friendly and pleasant staff, who will always be ready to solve your problems. If you are traveling alone, this will be a safe and tranquil place for you, judging by guest reviews. Outside, there are lovely hammocks where you can relax in the shade. 

I was very touched that this small hotel photographed its breakfasts and made it clear in advance what to expect. Here you will find fresh fruits, hot drinks or juices. You will also be provided with various types of bread, sweet pastries, yogurts, and hot dishes. The happy smiles of people in the breakfast photos tell me that this place is worth visiting.

The greatest convenience of the miniature hotel Pousada Acácia da Barra is that the nearest beach, Praia da Barra, is just 80 meters away. I know that many sea lovers appreciate being able to swim nearby or at least take a stroll by the water in the hot part of the day. This accommodation is perfect if you are that kind of person. An interesting attraction, the Farol da Barra Lighthouse, is located just 300 meters away.

All rooms are equipped with a built-in wardrobe, a bathroom, and the bedroom will have an air conditioner and a television. The rooms also have ironing facilities and everything needed for a shower. 

The design and interiors of the Casa Petunia Pousada Boutique hotel also make it clear that it is unique in its kind. Casa Petunia Pousada Boutique is a 5-minute walk from Farol da Barra — one of the most popular beaches in Salvador. However, the main advantage for active tourists like me, and for people who love to explore new things in general, is that the hotel is located just a 10-minute ride from Pelourinho. This is a historic district with churches and colonial buildings.

I have already mentioned that the hotel's decor will be quite unusual for many people who are accustomed to modern style. But there's no need to be afraid despite such an interesting combination of wood with all the furniture and decorations on the walls. It looks beautiful, and the room has all the necessary amenities. The rooms with excellent soundproofing feature a bathroom, a bedroom, cupboards, and shelves for storage, as well as a safe and a television. 

It is amazing how Viver Bahia Pousada differs from the previous one, although its style features the same combination of wood in the furniture and white colors. The hotel has its own garden, which certainly adds a special aesthetic to it. They can arrange a tour about the local culture for you, at an additional cost. But it seems to me that it is worth taking such services while traveling to fill the vacation with bright emotions and new knowledge. The hotel also has a bar and a shared lounge. 

Breakfast offers a very diverse selection of food, and you can even choose vegetarian and vegan options. All dishes are beautifully decorated and look presentable. Trust me, this is quite important for appetite and uplifting your mood for the entire day. Of course, in addition to this, the food is very delicious and has earned a rating of "excellent" on booking sites.

The closest beach to the hotel is Farol da Barra, 600 meters away. The mini-hotel is also located 2.4 km and 5 km from attractions such as Ondina Beach and the Pelourinho District. For those who love heights and thrills, there is the Lacerda Elevator just 5 km from this location.  

It's wonderful that the rooms of the small hotel overlook the city. The rooms feature streaming services, and there are board games, in case you enjoy such entertainment with friends or family. The standard double room includes a bathroom with towels and a hairdryer, and a bedroom with a mini-bar and air conditioning. 

The last hotel on the list is the Bahiamar Hotel. But it's definitely not at the bottom of the list because it's worse. The terrace with a mesmerizing view deserves special attention, and there is a small pool and beach chairs with umbrellas right on it. By the way, there is also a bar where you can get delicious cocktails and juices. Room service for food and drinks is available for guests, as well as free private parking and laundry.

Every day, breakfast will be served for you in a buffet format. The menu always includes fresh fruits, bread, pastries, and a meat platter. There is a good selection of hot dishes and local cuisine. Of course, you will also find various sweets and cereals with milk at breakfast. 

Bahiamar Hotel is located just a few minutes' walk from Jardim de Alah beach, with a large number of shops and entertainment venues nearby. The Salvador Conference Center is about 3 km away. You can reach the Farol da Barra lighthouse in 10 minutes, and the distance to the airport is 12 km. 

Spacious and bright hotel rooms are equipped with all the necessary amenities. It's great that they have a balcony with a view of the landmark. You can wake up and fall asleep to a beautiful view, as well as on a comfortable bed. The room is equipped with a mini-bar with drinks and air conditioning. There will be an elevator nearby with access to the upper floors, where the pool is located.
